Sophie Wyburd played Jane in the alternate ending of Peter Pan. She was born on November 30, 1993 in London, England, United Kingdom.

Personal lifeEdit

Sophie lives in London with Francis and Kate, her parents; Ellie, Maddy, Phoebe and Mimi, her sisters; and her many pets. Sophie is the second eldest. Her sister Phoebe made the news in 2009, when she was cyber bullied for having swine flu.

Acting historyEdit

Sophie was discovered in when she met a casting director in 2000. The casting director had come to her school and observed her class. In 2001, she auditioned for the role of Angelica Bell in The Hours, which was released in 2002. The Hours also starred Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman and Julianne Moore. Sophie got her role as Angelica after being selected by Stephen Daldry. In 2002, Sophie auditioned for Peter Pan. She went to Australia in November with another young girl to compete for the role of Jane.

Sophie was selected by P. J. Hogan to be Jane, and they filmed for ten days. Her scene did not appear in the film, and was instead added to the DVD as a deleted scene. Sophie also auditioned for other films such as Love Actually, Nanny McPhee and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. She studied drama and literature at school.
